The main characters are NOT vampires Everything I enjoyed so much in the first book is back, with if anything the whole being ramped up a notch. So I’ve decided to move on to another book, and donate the rest of the books I have in this series to charity. TDGD has not added anything new to the mix for me. Now a fraternity is throwing its annual Dead Girls’ Dance and-surprise! Sometimes I enjoy what’s going on but at other times I find Claire to be cxine annoying and some of the choices made to be laughable.

Like the first book, one of the biggest barriers I found to enjoyment was the utter foolishness of the characters, especially Claire. I hated Shane’s dad. Claire did so many stupid things I wanted to smack her. I thought Claire did some darn stupid things, I think Eve did some stupid things too, and Michael’s choice was certainly an interesting one.
While I do think this is one of the less memorable books in the series, it’s definitely worth readingboth for the important things that happen and the developments between characters. The story was full of danger and throughout the book she seemed to go from one disaster to the next, all of which had me on the yirls of my seat in suspense.

Yes, the story does hold your attention enough that your willing to give it one more chance. In the second book of the Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine, Shane’s father is determined to kill as many vampires as possible. Didn’t like the pacing, but I know these are supposed to get better and there are girrls, so I figured I should keep trying in case I end up getting hooked.
I dacne engaged in the least, and just kept reading for the sake of finishing it.
I like the thought of Shane caged but for me only lol. Re-read in and dropping the rating from 4 stars to 2. For example the party scene It’s probably worth noting that I’m slightly older than the target age for this series. It’s going to be nice to see him join the action and leave the Glass House.

Therefore, with this particular series, you might be better served picking up the first two or three books and then reading them all in one go. I just can’t seem to tell how much I hated this thing. The romance is dealt with fantastically.
