The only weak fifts of the book is when the author tries to examine these phenomena from a scientific stand-point and then digresses into discussions satson things like dousing and spoon-bending. When you start reading something as non-fiction, and approach something that might be outside the realm of widely acceptable truth, it is easier for the reader to accept those occupancies as happenings of nonfiction when they are small at first.
