2 days ago I’m having problems syncing my MacJournal data from my iPad to my Mac. Either my iPad doesn’t see my Mac, or the sync never completes. Unlike other journal applications, MacJournal is packed with features, setting it apart. “MacJournal remains our app of choice for digital diary keeping.”. From the songs you download to the movies you watch on them, the iPhone, iPad , and iPod are distinct to your tastes. MacJournal for iOS is a lot like that too.

At first glance, these items can be confusing to access – in time you become comfortable with the options, but it’s currently not intuitive. Mostly because I paid buckets of cash for both of them and so kept hanging on. Day One is much better at keeping synced and you can import old journals very easily. Flaming or offending other users. If you like a disciplined approach to your journal keeping, set aside time every day to write and use the Timer to monitor yourself.
MacJournal for Mac OS 6. Use this ap at your own risk. I do think it’s weird that creating these items is done by tapping the edit button which I would associate with editing preexisting entries instead of creating new ones. It can be your first thoughts of the day, a summary of a good book or just to unload from the week. Promote cracked software, or other illegal content. They say it’s getting better but that Dropbox is the problem.
If I add text to a day’s entry on the iPad and then close the program and then open MacJournal again, the newly entered text has disappeared. If you don’t you risk losing data. You can have multiple journals, smart iad, and password protected journals at least that is what I have used it for.
It’s no wonder MacJournal is the world’s most popular journaling app for the Mac.
MacJournal for iOS
Your journals will be as rich with sight and sound as the event itself. Just like the desktop application, MacJournal gives you the ability to create journals and smart journals via the edit button.
To start the syncing process, tap the name of the device with which you want to sync. Creating entries in a selected journal is fulfilled with the compose button via the toolbar at the top right of the application. MacJournal on the iPad gets daily use, and I think anyone who owns the desktop client should consider vesting in the mobile app.
The offline editing does not work at best and at worst it will lose entries from your journal. MacJournal for iPad allows users to organize, chronicle and edit any life event using the same look and feel as the desktop version.
Not sure what people are complaining about here but this has been and still is a great application.
Introduced for the Mac in and the iPhone inMacJournal for iPad offers an even greater opportunity to document important life events while on the go. MacJournal, on the other hand, is a heavy duty journaling application.
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices. I have worked with support on this for years. Want to blog from your iOS device? Today’s iPad update of MacJournal is flawed. The other cool stuff. And Mariner’s “help” info on the website is useless.
Then I thought well, one more try Despite some problematic reviews I just downloaded MacJournal for iPad and am putting it through its paces. How hard would the ability to pick another color be to implement? Hit home button again go back to main screen and then hit home button twice slide up all background apps. The problem is, I might not have written anything in the month of February, but the folder is still accessible it’s empty of course.
My suggestion is that the developer use more thorough, robust testing because some of these bugs should never be present once they hit the App Store. The Mariner website, in common with many developer websites, offers no help at all.
I would rate this a 3 except for one thing.

KaneFulton Really like this app a lot and always looking forward the next revision with its new features. It does this very quickly and very well. Was looking for something other than Day One that would sync with a MacPro, but this app just doesn’t cut it. Login or create an account to post a review. Never out of sync with each other, multiple categories, types of media, sharing, and exporting, multiple journals, Etc.
Select type of offense: The app stopped syncing, it does not recognize other than the ipad it lives in!
